How to Show You Love Marvel Comics as an Adult

Despite the lack of young children in our home, I promise that Marvel items make an appearance in our lives regularly. While we definitely watch the Marvel movies when they’re out and have several comics we’ve picked up over the years, as adults, we aren’t really interested in the toys and action figures.

That doesn’t mean that we can’t show off how much we love Marvel Comics as an adult. We certainly can and do! Everyone has a favorite Marvel hero and we can never agree on which character is the best. I know that it’s Iron Man, of course, but they don’t agree. Whether you agree with me or not, you’ll want to keep reading to learn more about the latest addition to our Marvel collection.

The premier provider in authentic animation, out-of-print and limited edition fine art, Choice Collectibles supplies beautifully crafted rare pieces that, thanks to great partnerships, feature your favorite Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Warner Brothers characters, among many others. The full collection may be found at allanimation.com, but you can see the featured piece (Defenders) that I received from the Marvel Animation collection above.

Created by Marvel staff artists, ”Defenders” is inspired by the famous live-action scene where the Avengers battle the villains in the city rubble. The Rubble Rousers crew features the characters: Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Captain America, Falcon, Nick Fury and Black Widow.

This piece is a Giclee on Paper. Giclée printing is a process that uses fade-resistant, archival inks and archival substrates to print on large format printers. It’s a way of duplicating the original artwork. The Edition Size is 250 and it measures 17″H x 22″W. It’s even signed by Stan Lee! This piece comes unframed with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Our new Marvel collectible has a prime spot in our living room to show everyone how much we love Marvel. It arrived very securely packaged in cardboard to protect it. The print is matted and it’s protected in plastic. We will be adding a frame to it eventually but for now, we’ll show it off as is. If you have a fan of Marvel in your home, you’ll want to add one of these gorgeous pieces to their collection. You can choose any number of different characters from Ghost Rider (my husband’s favorite) to the Silver Surfer!
