My All AmericanAlthough you couldn’t tell it from looking at him now, my son was always on the small side when he was younger. He didn’t really shoot up until high school and even then, until his final few years, he was skinny as a rail. Despite his small size, he always enjoyed sports even though it was a challenge to compete with some of the larger kids.

My All American Opens November 13

What Freddie Steinmark wants most in the world is to play football. Deemed too small by the usual athletic standards, his father trains him hard, and Freddie brings a fight to the game that ultimately gets him noticed – by none other than legendary University of Texas coach Darrell Royal. Awarded a scholarship and a chance to play for the Longhorns, Freddie sets off to Austin determined to make the team.

Alongside his old teammate Bobby Mitchell and new pal James Street they rise to the occasion, giving the Longhorns a real chance to turn the team around.

But just when they’re reveling in the success of the season, Freddie suffers an injury that leads him to a shocking diagnosis and the biggest challenge he will ever face.

My All American will be premiering November 13th in theaters around the country. It’s rated PG and is perfectly on theme for football season. We plan on watching My All American as soon as it comes to theaters in our area.

Perseverance is a trait that’s important to learn and can really help you get ahead in your life. I love that Freddie got noticed and rewarded for working hard and he’s definitely a good role model for my kids to see.

One of my readers will win a My All American prize pack containing a $25 Gift Card, My All American Long Sleeve T-shirt, My All American Hat and My All American Cinch Sack. Open to US only.
