Count to 10 with a Mouse, by Margaret Wise Brown, author of Goodnight Moon, is a fun interactive book that teaches counting to children three to five years of age. This book tells the story of a mouse that’s no bigger than a mole who tried to count his nose and toes but didn’t know how to count.

Count to 10 with a Mouse Sticker Activity Book
His adventure starts out with him chewing his way through a book to learn how to count. He learns about numbers and stays in the hole in the book. As he moves through the pages, he meets various animals who help him learn to count.
“And there what did he see?
And there what did he see?
Four little monkeys,
Swinging in a tree.”
Each double page teaches a number along the way with very cute pastel illustrations drawn by Kristen Richards. It is neat how they created a book inside a book and our granddaughter loved how the story had little activities for her to do while reading. The fact that we can stretch it out by talking about the mouse, the other objects and counting the different things will make parents happy as well.
“There was a little mouse no bigger than a mole,
who lived in a round place that he called a hole”.
The book came with an adorable little, stuffed mouse (what a plus!) that fits in little hands perfectly. Our granddaughter immediately ran off with the little guy after the story was done!
A delightful and simple book that will appeal to all little ones and one that older brother and sisters can help as well. I think that this book would make a wonderful gift for a child who is just learning to count. Buy it today.

Fun! I bet my little kids would love this.
It looks like such a cute book!
That is cute as a button! My son always loved sticker books!
This sounds like a fun simple book that one of grandchildren would just love. It would make a great gift too!
Oh this would be a great book for teaching my 3 year old. Thanks for sharing. I haven’t put her in preschool yet so we are working on colors and numbers, she’s having a hard time with numbers…she can only do i-2-3 and that’s on a good day.
