Traveling with kids can be a huge challenge. They’re stuck in one place, probably annoying you and each other. I can remember arguing with my sister about whose side of the car her foot was on. I’m sure that must have driven my parents insane. If you’re looking for books to keep the kids occupied, these are the best books for kids when traveling.

Paper Planes: 25 planes to fold and fly
Even when my son was tiny, he had a fascination with flying airplanes. We had little plastic and wooden airplanes all over the place. As he got older, he enjoyed learning how to make and fly paper airplanes. I only wish we had this book then! Included in this activity book are 25 planes to fold and fly along with an amazing instruction book with games to play and 50 mega stickers! There are all sorts of neat designs on the paper that makes it much more fun to fold than plain old white paper. This book is intended for children ages 6 and over.
If you’re getting ready to travel, I definitely recommend you add these two books to your busy box.
Ellen is a mom of a 25-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. She is Grandma to one adorable toddler. In what little spare time she has, she loves to read, watch movies, and check out the latest toys and games.
I like airplanes too and who doesn’t love Disney? Both excellent choices to keep them busy for hours.
So true, Deb!
These are good picks. My son loves trying to make paper airplanes, he would enjoy that book.
I bet he would, Shelly!
