My thoughts:

This is a beautiful hardcover book that would make a wonderful addition to your gardening library or as a gift for a friend along with a plant. There are chapters on planting, watering and fertilizing; lighting; environment, grooming, and propagation; problem-solving and specialties.

Then, there are plant profiles for individual plants so you can see the specifics for the plants you have or may want to add to your collection. I absolutely love the gorgeous color photographs in this book.

It’s so easy for me to identify my houseplants and figure out what I need to do to care for them properly. This is a beautiful book that you’ll want to refer to over and over again.

Once you have a few houseplants, you’ll want to get a macrame plant hanger to show them all off. Here are Macrame Plant Hanger Patterns to start with.

  1. I would love to learn how to better care for my house plants! I have several in my home now and I would love to add more!

  2. It has taken me a while, but I finally have a collection of plants that I am unable to kill. I wish I was better at growing things, but alas, it does not seem to be my thing.

  3. This would be so perfect! Since my precious Nana’s passing in 2016, I have managed to keep alive her houseplants and also start a few of my own. I love it now and this would be perfect so I can learn more!
