Dollar Tree Pizza Pan Wreath
There are lots of different ways to upcycle a Dollar Tree pizza pan. I think this is the perfect way to DIY beautify what would otherwise be a plain pizza pan.
A simple trip to your local Dollar Tree can spark a world of creativity. Who knew a pizza pan could be transformed into a unique piece of decor? With just a few inexpensive materials, you too can create a whimsical wreath for your front door.
Moreover, this project is an excellent opportunity to let your imagination run wild. You can customize it to fit any season, holiday, or theme you desire.

What can you make with a pizza pan?
One simple craft you can make with a pizza pan is a magnetic memo board. For this, you’ll need a pizza pan, some fabric, and a few magnets. Start by cutting the fabric to fit the pan, leaving some extra to fold over the edges. Attach the fabric to the pan using a hot glue gun, then add your magnets. Hang it on a wall, and voila! You have a custom-made memo board for important reminders.
Another charming idea is to create a pizza pan clock. All you need is a pizza pan, a clock movement kit from any craft store, and some paint to style it. Paint the pizza pan in the color of your choice, then install the clock movement kit according to its instructions. You now have a chic, functional, and affordable wall clock.
Lastly, you can turn a pizza pan into a stylish serving tray. To do this, you’ll need a pizza pan, some paint, a pair of cabinet handles, and strong adhesive. How do you glue a placemat to a pizza pan?
We used chalk paint to paint our pizza pan wreath. But, if you’d rather, you can use a round placement.
Gluing a placemat to a pizza pan is simple. First, gather your materials: a pizza pan, a round placemat, and strong adhesive. Make sure the placemat fits well inside the pizza pan. Apply a generous amount of adhesive to the back of the placemat.
Carefully place the placemat on the pizza pan, aligning it center. Press down firmly to ensure it sticks well. Leave it to dry completely before proceeding with further decoration.
Why use a perforated pizza pan in crafts?
This craft uses a non perforated pan. But, a perforated pizza pan is a popular choice in crafts due to its versatility. The holes in the pan add a unique visual element to the finished product. They can also be used to attach decor items using wires or ribbons.
This makes it easy to customize the pan for various crafts and decorations. Plus, the metallic surface of the pan is easy to paint and provides a durable base for your projects.
Supplies to make a pizza pan wreath
You can customize the colors you use for the chalk paint to match any season. If you want to make a Christmas wreath, use red or green paint. For spring, use pastel paint.
This Dollar Tree Pizza Pan wreath uses black paint as the base because it goes well with burlap. There are lots of ideas for pizza pans.

Can I hang the pizza pan wreath on my door?
Yes, you can hang this on an interior door. It is not safe for the elements so don’t hang it outside. You can also use it as wall decor or to accent your dining table.
Pizza pan wreath materials
You can find almost all of the materials at the Dollar Tree. If you don’t have one near you, check out whatever dollar store you have in your area.
Any dollar store pizza pan will work for this craft. Or, you may be able to find one second hand at a thrift store.

- Lamb’s ear bunch

If you can’t find Dollar Tree Pizza pans, any type of pizza pan will work for this wreath.
How to make a Dollar Tree Pizza Pan Wreath
Start by applying 2 coats of chalk paint to the pizza pan allowing for time to dry in between coats. I found that I needed two coats for good coverage. If you can’t find chalk paint, you can use spray paint instead.
Next apply the welcome sticker to the middle of the pizza pan. If you don’t want to use a sticker, you can write with chalk paint sticks instead.
Start by adding a line of hot glue to the inside rim of the pizza pan and applying the nautical rope on top. Complete this all the way around the inside rim of the pizza pan. Trim the rope at the end
Next cut about a 4 inch section of the nautical rope and hot glue to the back side of the pizza pan, so that you can hang it.
Bow instructions:
Cut a 10 inch section of the ribbon, two 7 inch sections, a 6 inch section and a 3 inch section of ribbon. Or, you could use a premade burlap ribbon instead.
Fold the ends of the 10 inch section towards each other. Complete this with the 6 inch sections as well. Flip them over and lay the 6 inch section on top of the 10 inch folded section.
Using the 3 inch section, wrap around the middle of the combined sections and add some hot glue to secure it.
Next add the 7 inch sections to the backside of the top bow section and then cut the ends to make them pointed
Using the wire cutters, trim the lamb’s ear to leave a few inches of the stem so that you can hot glue it to the pizza pan and then hot glue the bow on top.
Let it set before you hang the Dollar Tree Pizza Pan Wreath on your front door.
What if I don’t have a dollar store?
If you don’t have a dollar store, you can check Walmart. You should be able to find a pizza pan that is very similar to the Dollar Tree pizza pan just about anywhere.
Or, you could find a good-condition second-hand pizza pan as well. You don’t have to have a Dollar Tree pizza pan.
I love the way this turned out. Get creative and use the same basic Dollar Tree pizza pan craft for fall, Christmas or any season you like. Hang it on your front door and welcome your guests.
