Did you ever notice that most of the Bible stories for children feature male characters? There are female heroes of the Bible and Esther the Belle of Patience shares one of my favorites. I have always loved the story of Esther in the Bible because she was always so calm and peaceful which are two things that I struggle with quite a bit. I

Esther the Belle of Patience
Bible Belles’ The Adventures of Rooney Cruz is an original children’s series that presents real heroes like never before. The series highlights five superhero women of the Bible: Hannah, Esther, Abigail, Ruth, and Deborah. In today’s world, the girls who are the loudest are the ones who get noticed. Together, the Bible Belles show all of us how to make a different kind of noise.
Esther the Belle of Patience is a story about Rooney Cruz. Rooney is a little girl who is on her local soccer team. She really wants to speak to her coach about the behavior of another girl who is not being a team player. Each time she tries to speak to him, he’s busy and she’s having problems waiting until the right time. She is able to see Esther through a special doorway to the past and she learns a valuable lesson by watching her story and how she reacts.
