Maggie is an empath who feels other people’s feelings. She is a member of the town’s ghost hunting group and lately everyone has been feeling that something is going on in the town. Luc, a local Amish man is killed in a very violent manner and Maggie and her friends are trying to find out who did it.
It’s starting to look like his wife may have had something to do with it. She is an outsider and the other Amish women don’t trust her. They think she has put a hex on their farm animals and possibly her behavior was the cause of Luc’s death. Maggie isn’t sure what’s going on but she knows something is and is set on figuring out what it is.
I love both Amish and paranormal mysteries and the author expertly combines both genres in a very realistic story. I had a hard time putting it down because I was too busy trying to figure out who did it. If you enjoy either genre, I definitely recommend you read this.

Fun title and another who dune it that I think I’d like. I can relate to feeling another’s pain at times, lol, but glad I’m not an empath!
