Jerry Lewis is one of my all time favorite classic actors but I have never heard of Max Rose before. I really hope that this film opens in my area so I have a chance to watch it. If you enjoy Jerry Lewis movies, I’m sure you’ll want to see it too! This is Jerry Lewis’ first feature film role in more than twenty years, and I know it’s going to be amazing!

Max Rose: The Legend is Back
MAX ROSE tells the story of a jazz pianist (Jerry Lewis) who makes a discovery after the death of his wife that causes him to believe his sixty-five year marriage was a lie. He embarks on an exploration of his own past that brings him face to face with a menagerie of characters from a bygone era. Starring Jerry Lewis, Kerry Bishé, Kevin Pollack, and Claire Bloom, MAX ROSE will open in New York on September 2, Los Angeles on September 9 and will expand nationwide throughout September and October 2016.

I grew up with Jerry Lewis and with my daughter’s nuero-muscular disease we were able to meet him while attending MD events. I was unaware of this new film but I’m hoping it comes to my area.

This sounds like a great movie! I’ve been a big fan of Jerry Lewis for years, and I love him in both his comedy and serious roles.
I’m not sure I’ve seen many of his serious roles. I need to watch those!
Jerry Lewis IS a legend! It’s totally appropriate that “The Legend” is in the title. I can’t wait to see this.
