It’s always a good idea to have a few DVD’s on hand for those super cold days when you can’t send the kids out to play. Those days are the perfect time for a cup of hot chocolate, a warm blanket on the couch and a winter themed DVD marathon. These winter themed DVD’s from NCircle are the perfect choice!

NCircle Winter DVD
Just picture it, it’s -10F outside and there is no way you’re sending the kids out to play in this weather. They’re running around the kitchen screaming but then you pull out a winter DVD and declare snack and movie time in the other room. You’re their friend for life – or at least for the next hour.
The Snowman
One crisp winter morning, a young boy wakes up to find a thick blanket of snow has covered the ground as far as the eye can see. Filled with excitement, the boy decides to build a snowman using a tangerine for his nose, coal for his buttons and eyes, and tops him off with a hat and scarf.
This DVD is a fun look at what happens when the snowman comes to life and travel to the snowman’s home in the North Pole. Bonus features include The Story of the Snowman and an alternate introduction from David Bowie.
Octonauts The Very Vegimal Christmas
Dive into adventure with your favorite underwater explorers, the Octonauts! Join brave Captain Barnacles, daredevil ex-pirate Kwazil and medic Peso Penguin, along with the other Octonauts as they explore the world’s oceans, rescue the creatures who live there and protect their habitats – above and below the waves.
I admit that the Octonauts are one of my favorite Nickelodeon cartoons. They’re adorable and funny and help each other and those are all good things for our kids to see. This DVD includes 4 action packed adventures: Very Vegimal Christmas, Arctic Orcas, Great Christmas Rescue and Orcas.
A Very Awesome Yo Gabba Gabba! Live Holiday Show
Join DJ Lance Rock, Brobee, Foofa, Muno, Plex and Toodee as they dance, sing and decorate the tree to prepare for the arrival of Santa Claus. Filmed live at New York City’s The Beacon Theater, celebrate the season with the colorful cast of characters singing their holiday hits.
This is such a fun show. It has special appearances by Leslie Hall and of course, Santa Claus! Definitely fun for the kids with lots and lots of songs.
Caillou’s Holiday Movie
When winter comes to Caillou’s house, this curious 4 year old tackles all kinds of big boy activities like helping Daddy shovel snow, making hoilday presents for his family and even discovering how other little boys and girls around the world celebrate the season.
This is really an adorable holiday DVD and it’s 80 minutes long so it’s the perfect choice when you need a break. Bonus features include an interview with Caillou and 2 holiday songs: 8 Days to Go and Caillou’s Christmas Song.
