Totally Amazing Mazes by Parragon Books
Paragon has come out with yet another awesome product- Totally Amazing Mazes! I love doing maze books for kids. Ever since I was a child, my favorite thing to pass time was doing mazes. I would check the kid’s placemats at restaurants to see if there was a maze. I still look for mazes on my daughter’s menu.
This book is no exception! This book has 100 twisty turny maze adventures. I promise you, your child won’t get bored figuring out these mazes. Each one is totally different. There isn’t just a maze to find your way like some maze books are. This book has a different “task” for each maze. You need to find clues and solve puzzles as you solve the maze. I love that in one maze, you are a turtle that needs to escape the crabs. Another maze you need to escape the zombies. Escaping zombies? Very cool…
I think our favorite mazes so far are the maze that you are in a shopping mall and the kids are picking where to shop at next, and the maze where you are stuck in a traffic jam and you have to find your way out. I love that the illustrations are very colorful, bright and visually appealing. Fun illustrations keep kids reading and keep their attention. I think it’s a maze book that would appeal to kids of all ages-even small ones. They obviously need help reading the print, but it’s pretty self explanatory.
My 10 year old just loves this book and we love to do them together. I’m so glad there are so many mazes because I would’ve been sad to finish it in one day. This is one maze book that we will visit back often. It will appeal to both parents and kids. Spend the day getting “lost” together!
Ellen is a mom of a 25-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. She is Grandma to one adorable toddler. In what little spare time she has, she loves to read, watch movies, and check out the latest toys and games.
My kids loved books like this when they were younger!! They were great entertainment in the car.
That is definitely true, Michele!
My kids love to do mazes. My daughter was just invited to a bday party and the mom said her daughter likes to do mazes too…this would be a perfect gift!
I bet it would, Leah!
My oldest loves puzzles too. I think he would really get a kick out of this book!
What a fun book! So glad I stumbled upon this. Thank you for sharing.
This looks great. I’m a huge puzzle fan. Puzzles, mazes, blacksmith puzzles. Anything like that is great for me.
I really enjoy them too, Myrah. Loads of fun!
Oh a physical zombie maze at Halloween would be cool!
