If you have children that ask a million questions about everything, then this book is perfect for them. I remember when I was little how I loved to go to the library on the weekends. I would go straight to the reference section to learn more about, well “everything”. Now we have the internet, but it’s still nice to be able to pick up a book and admire all the illustrations.
This book is huge! I love how the pages vary and the beautiful pictures. 5000 Amazing Facts About Everything covers a variety of topics to interest all children and is easy for little ones to navigate through it. I found that I learned a lot reading this as well. There are facts about everything such as dinosaurs, black holes, populations, and world treasures, just to name a few.
Did you know that Saturn is so light, it would float on water? How about the fact that The Apollo spacecraft took three days to reach the moon? If you want to learn about things that you would not think to be interested in, then this book is for you. My daughter loves to read through all the pages and to quote the facts that interest her. She may be able to use this for school this year for a report or fun fact sheet. I feel that this would be perfect for anyone doing homeschool as well. A great gift idea for the inquisitive mind too!
