I love animals and at one point wanted a cow and goat of my own. We already have the ducks, chickens and cats. The only problem with accumulating animals is that they are a whole heck of a lot of work. Cleaning, feeding and caring for animals takes time and I don’t have a lot of that. It’s much easier to simply play a farm game on my iPhone.

4 Farm Games for iPhone
I love playing games on my iPhone because I don’t have to commit huge amounts of time. I can play for a few minutes while I’m waiting for a doctor’s appointment. I can play while I’m standing in line at the grocery store. Farm games are probably my favorite type of iPhone game and these 4 farm games for iPhone are the ones I enjoy the most.
- Hay Day – Learn the lay of the land, tend to your crops, and trade goods with neighbors and friends. It’s a real special place where the crops never die even though it never rains. Sharing the farm with our quirky animals only makes things more fun! This is definitely my favorite farm game of all. I’m on level 39 and I play it every day. The game is FREE but there are in app purchases so be careful if you let the kids play.
- Farm Heroes Saga – Join forces with the Farm Heroes to stop Rancid the Raccoon from spoiling the precious farm lands. Switch and match three or more adorable cropsies to drive Rancid away for good! Not your traditional farm game, this is a matching game where you match fruits and vegetables. Another FREE game to enjoy.
- Barn Voyage – Barn Voyage is the latest farming simulation from the makers of the Facebook hit, Family Farm. Jump into a beautiful storyline, build your farm from scratch, and experience a new level of farming fun. I really enjoy the visuals in this game. Not quite as much fun as Hay Day but still loads of fun. Free with in app purchases.
- Smurf’s Village – Gargamel found the Smurfs’ village and scattered the Smurfs far and wide. With Papa Smurf’s guidance, it’s up to you to build a new village for the Smurfs to call home. I was a huge fan of the smurfs when I was younger so this fun combination is a great way to relax. Free to play but with in app purchases.

Ellen is a mom of a 25-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. She is Grandma to one adorable toddler. In what little spare time she has, she loves to read, watch movies, and check out the latest toys and games.
My son and I love farm games. We play together on his iPad.
They are so much fun!
Must…not…look…at….these. After spending too much time on FarmVille and FarmTown I dare not get hooked on another one.
LOL too late now, Scott!
My daughter was always very into farm games. I am not much of a game person myself but she certainly enjoyed them.
You should try them sometime, Diane!
Oh my goodness, what fun games! I don’t dare try them myself because I’d get hooked, but I’ll show my daughter -she’ll love these!
It’s definitely hard to stop some days!
Sending this straight to hubby, he loves his farm games! I really haven’t gotten that into them, since I know I’d be addicted right away! lol
I really do enjoy them after a long day!
