About the book:
A NOVELETTE- The Lynlee Lincoln Series One: Magical and undead creatures can get into plenty of sticky situations. Lynlee Lincoln loves her job as a neutralizer, but she needs a break from the supernatural chaos after an ultra-busy Halloween night. Coming home, she’s ready to collapse into her bed and forget the day… until she discovers two children scavenging through her refrigerator. One look at the pair and she feels a tug on her heartstrings, then she learns their father is the man she spent years trying to forget. When Beck pleads with her to help save his daughter, Lynlee gets thrust into a heap of trouble.
Trolling for Trouble by Olivia Hardin
Lynlee is a neutralizer and a witch. What that means is that she helps fix the messes any of her charges cause using their magic so that normal people don’t know magic exists. At the end of a very difficult day, she returns home only to find that Beck, a man from her past is there with his two children. Beck needs her help to save his daughter and through talking with her, Lynlee learns that she is a nymph and there is a troll that she needs to take care of. She’s not sure she can handle being this close to Beck again but she has to help his daughter.
Trolling for Trouble is a novelette that is the perfect length for a quick lunch time read. I love the characters and the imagery the author uses made their situation really come to life even in a novelette. Beck’s children are absolutely adorable and I can totally understand why Lynlee felt she has to help them. If you’re looking for a quick read that will make you smile, Trolling for Trouble by Olivia Hardin is definitely it.
Ellen is a mom of a 25-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. She is Grandma to one adorable toddler. In what little spare time she has, she loves to read, watch movies, and check out the latest toys and games.
I am some times in the mood for a really quick read which will make me shudder then smile! This sounds like it could be one of them. Thank you for the great review.
Definitely could be!
I’m always up for a fast read, so this looks great to me. I also love Olivia’s books. 🙂
I need to read more of them!
I collect books the way some women collect shoes. Sounds like a fun pool side read for this summer.
That makes total sense to me!
I love books with magical and undead creatures!
Me too! They are so much fun!
The mystical characters sounds so appealing to me. I bet this is a hard one to put down.
I read the whole thing through in one sitting!
This isn’t my usual genre, but this book looks fascinating! I love an interesting, easy read, especially for by the pool during the summer!
Relaxing by the pool sounds good to me!
I’m not familiar with this author. It sounds like a light read, which sometimes is exactly what the doctor ordered. I think this is a great way for someone to try a new author, 56 pages isn’t too much to invest to decide if you like a writing style.
Very true, Val. I plan on reading more of her books.
I love anything that like this with “super nature” type concept in it . This would make good read for me this summer. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to share. Hope you enjoy!
I love reading lengthy novels, but sometimes I really enjoy a novelette. You get to up your read count and not make a huge commitment. 😀
Very true, Dawn!
I love quick reads!! I already want to know what happens to the characters in the end. You pulled me in!
Definitely get it from Amazon. I loved it!
I love Halloween and this would be a good one to read for that theme. It almost seems more believable and that anything can happen around that time.
It is a magical time of year!
Oh thanks for the heads up on the free status at Amazon. I just read your newer review of her second book, so thrilled to start with her first for free! The second will be next!
Glad to share! Hope you enjoy it!
