I use to dream of finding the secret doorway to the faerie realm when I was a teenager. Of course, when I found it, I’d meet a handsome faerie guy and we’d fall in love and live happily ever after. Of course, that never happened, but it certainly was a lot more fun to dream about than my algebra homework. If you love faerie romance stories, I wanted to let you know about a collection of nine faerie romance stories all in one collection.

I have read two of the stories in this collection so far and I plan on finishing the collection up this weekend. I am planning for some major couch time. These are the two stories I have read so far:
THE BEE CHARMER by Poppy Lawless
Rayne moved to Chancellor on a mission to help Alice find true love. That is, after all, his job as her fairy godfather. What Rayne didn’t expect was to find a love of his own. All Viola wants is to pursue her dream of becoming a perfumer. She doesn’t have time to fall in love. Viola and Rayne will soon find that when your heart makes a wish, even impossible dreams can come true.
My thoughts:
I fell in love with the setting for this story because it’s a small town that reminded me of my own. Of course, the similarities ended there because Chancellor has fairies, witches, and mermaids that live there. I loved watching Rayne figure out how to find the perfect person for Alice and all of the special relationships fall into place. This story really was a dream come true.
THE FAE AND THE FARMGIRL by Pauline Creeden
A Fae princess in jeans and paddock shoes–could any of this be real? Daisy Adams was an orphan raised on her uncle’s farm, but a tractor accident suddenly forces her uncle to reveal the lie she’s been living. Her mother’s still alive and she’s a queen of the Fae… and to make matters worse, Daisy is hunted and the center of a war that is just beginning.
My thoughts:
The Fae and the Farmgirl is my favorite of the two stories I’ve read so far. I love Daisy because she reminds me a lot of me when I was younger in some ways. I cannot imagine being in the situation she’s in and having to make the choices she needs to make. I could just feel the chemistry growing between her and one of the other Fae. The Fae and the Farmgirl is the first installment and what I learned is that the second and third will be available this month (May 2016). I cannot wait to read them!
Ellen is a mom of a 25-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. She is Grandma to one adorable toddler. In what little spare time she has, she loves to read, watch movies, and check out the latest toys and games.
I love to read books in a series or watch TV series as it give authors the chance to develop the theme or characters. I think it would be interesting to get a take on all these different authors and how they view Fairies.
There really are a number of different ways the authors see them!
