Do you remember waiting for dessert when you were little? Didn’t it feel like those special desserts were never as often as you wanted? My Mom didn’t make special desserts anywhere as often as I wanted her too, and I’ve never had that much patience.

My thoughts:
Alycat and the Thursday Dessert Day is an adorable children’s book about a cat who loves to daydream. When her daydreaming makes her miss out on her favorite dessert during Dessert Day at school, she refuses to have any other type. Like most children would, she gets upset but instead of letting it ruin her day, she comes up with a creative solution. She’ll make her own dessert!
Being flexible isn’t an easy task for anyone whether you’re a child or an adult. Alycat sets a great example of how to turn a bad situation into a new one that may even turn out to be better than we thought. This is a fun book with a great lesson.
Ellen is a mom of a 25-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. She is Grandma to one adorable toddler. In what little spare time she has, she loves to read, watch movies, and check out the latest toys and games.
The illustrations look precious. I love cat stories – of course – and tie in dessert and I’m there. It sounds like a great book for the little ones.
It definitely does!
This book looks super cute and interesting to read to my son because we all love cats
Thank You for the chance
