Adventure Time: The Complete Fourth Season

If you’re not familiar with Adventure Time, it is an animated TV series created for Cartoon Network.  The series is about a boy named Finn and his best friend and adopted brother, Jake, who is a dog with magical powers. The series takes place in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo. The series was inspired in part by the Dungeons and Dragons game and is quite popular with pre-teens and teenagers I know.

The Fourth Season contains 26 different episodes and loads of fearsome creatures like wolves, a horde of penguins and a vampire queen who plays the bass guitar. The Fourth Season starts off where the Third Season ends and we are introduced to the vampire queen that Finn becomes infatuated with. Honestly, there hasn’t been an adventure time season that I haven’t enjoyed and I definitely loved this one.  It is one of those shows that will appeal to everyone from the six year old in your home to the adults.

Picking a favorite episode is difficult but if I had to, I would probably choose Sons of Mars where they travel to meet Abraham Lincoln who happens to be the King of Mars. I never knew that’s why Lincoln was turned to stone 🙂 If you’re a fan of Adventure Time, you definitely need to get Adventure Time: The Complete Fourth Season on DVD.

Have you ever watched Adventure Time?

  1. I personally haven’t watched the show, but just got a copy of Munchkin: Adventure Time – a new card game. I guess I’ll be learning all about the characters from my girls!

  2. I haven’t! I feel so out of the loop. My kids are pretty hooked on Netflix, so we don’t buy as many DVDs as much. But if it’s a favorite show & I’ll know they’ll be watching it over and over then we pick up the DVD. I’ll ask them if they’ve seen Adventure Time.

  3. I don’t get cable or the The Cartoon Network so have not seen this but it sounds delightful. I would like it as an adult I’m sure.
