I love to journal but I often find myself spending more time doodling than writing. For me, journaling is not just about putting words to paper. It’s about expressing emotions and thoughts. Those thoughts may be colors, drawings, doodles, poems, lists or words. The journal I use needs to offer a place for me to express myself in a variety of ways.

My thoughts:
Becoming Me: A Work in Progress is a beautiful journal that allows you to color, write or brainstorm. Inside the book are quotes, thought-provoking prompts, blank pages for art activities, drawings to color in, and places for you to create your own drawings.
I love that there are so many different ways I can express myself in this book. I’ve been using gel pens to doodle in it and they work wonderfully to color in the drawings as well.
The pages are nice and thick, and I haven’t had any bleed-through at all which is very important when you’re drawing.
Becoming Me is not only a beautiful journal, it’s a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves to write or is artistic. The exercises will help you discover your creative side and learn more about the things that are important to you.

I agree!
I stocked up on the back to school sale notebooks for journaling, at less than 20 cents each. I find writing therapeutic, plus it keeps my fingers more limber! I do like special books like this and of course it’s great for a gift.
It definitely would make a great gift!
This looks like a great gift idea for my daughter. She has many journals.
