Breaking Bread with Brooke Burke was a show I instantly connected with. There are so many amazing memories associated with food in my life. The smell of homemade macaroni and cheese reminds me of learning to cook with my Mother when I was a teenager. Every time I cook with blueberries, I’m reminded of the time I went blueberry picking with my Grandfather when I was little. I could go on and on, and I’m sure you have many memories of food in your life as well.

Breaking Bread with Brooke Burke
“Breaking Bread With Brooke Burke” is a unique talk show that celebrates how our shared experiences with food can enrich our bonds with friends and loved ones. Brooke visits with celebrities to share memories and moments connected with a special meal or dish.
I had the opportunity to review the first episode where Brooke visits with Florence Henderson from The Brady Bunch. In the first episode, they visit one of Florence’s favorite Italian restaurants and talk about the special memories that Florence has of food with her family. I loved being able to look into the restaurant’s kitchen and see how they make a few of their signature Italian dishes.
I’m really looking forward to trying the Linguini with Red Clam Sauce. The recipe was simple enough that I could follow the chef’s directions and make it myself. I love Linguini with Clam Sauce but have never made it with a red clam sauce. Since my daughter loves to cook, I’m going to make this with her and create another family food memory.

Well, I’m not sure I’d like a celebrity in my house but….LOL. That’s fun. And the smell of bread baking is amazing 🙂
Not unless the maid was coming first!
This is interesting. I would love the conversation wtiha celebrity… but I think my life would overwhelm her (them) if we were baking bread with each other. 🙂
In the first episode, it was delicious Italian recipes so you never know!
I think this sounds like an awesome talk show. When you think about it, most of the best girl talk is over food.
Very true!
I like Brooke Burke from other reality shows she has hosted or been part of. I’ll have to watch this new Breaking Bread show.
I’m looking forward to the next one!
