For this post, I am reviewing An Unexpected Kiss by Cindy Roland Anderson.  Lucy is heading home to Snow Valley, Montana to spend Christmas with her family. She’s annoyed at her mother who keeps trying to fix her up with her high school boyfriend. She has absolutely no interest in him as more than a friend and is not happy that her mother asked him to pick her up at the airport.  To make sure that he understands she’s definitely not interested in him, she kisses a total stranger that she saw on the airplane and then pretends that they have some kind of relationship. When she gets sick in Snow Valley, she heads to the new doctor in town only to find out that he’s the stranger in the airport.

An Unexpected Kiss by Cindy Roland Anderson is a fun, Christmas themed read that will definitely get you in the mood for the holidays. I love that it’s a novella because I can sit down and read the story without committing a huge amount of time to it. The holidays are very hectic and novellas are just perfect when you’re short on time. The author paints a wonderful picture of Snow Valley and the relationship between Lucy and Cole.
