I’m a huge Disney fan and while I love the Disney cartoons, it’s the non-animated shows that I really enjoy the most. The whole family enjoyed the Disney’s Alice in Wonderland when we watched it so I knew Disney Alice Through the Looking Glass was something we had to watch too. A DVD was provided for this post. Disney Alice Through the Looking Glass
Disney invites you to step through the looking glass and join Alice, the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat and the Red Queen on a wild ride back to Wonderland! The adventure begins when Alice embarks on a daring quest to save her dear friend the Hatter (Johnny Depp). Plunging back into the whimsical, topsy-turvy world of Wonderland with all her old companions and a host of zany new ones, Alice must take on Time himself to right a past wrong, find her muchness… and remember that nothing is impossible.
My thoughts:
Alice Through the Looking Glass is the sequel to Alice in Wonderland and it’s hard to believe but it’s been six years since the original came out. This is a stand-alone movie so you can enjoy it even if you haven’t seen the first one, but you’ll want to anyway because it’s so good. In Alice Through the Looking Glass, Alice and her friends need to save the Hatter who is not doing well at all. To help him, she has to visit Time in order to get the Chronosphere and alter the course of events that happened. While she’s planning how she’ll get the Chronosphere, she runs into many of the characters from the first movie (Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, The Cheshire Cat, etc.).
We all loved Alice Through the Looking Glass and thought it was an amazing follow-up to the first movie. All of the characters were amazing but my favorite was definitely Johnny Depp as the Hatter. The CGI and special effects were just as fantastic as in the first movie.
Ellen is a mom of a 25-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. She is Grandma to one adorable toddler. In what little spare time she has, she loves to read, watch movies, and check out the latest toys and games.
What a cute video about tea time! I did not know that about stirring tea back and forth and not around. Who does that? Probably the British who know a thing or two about tea, lol. A Johnny Depp lover too so I must see this movie!
Me too, Deb! Cannot wait!
