It’s in His Kiss is the tenth book in the Lucky Harbor Series by Jill Shalvis. It’s the first book I’ve read in this series and the first book I’ve read by Jill Shalvis. Neither of these things stopped me from loving this romantic story. It’s in His Kiss is the story of Becca and Sam. Becca has left the life she knew taking care of her brother’s music career to take a long vacation and discover what she wants out of life. She decides to stay Lucky Harbor for a while and try to make it on her own. She needs a place to stay and a job and a lot more self confidence.
While she’s there, she runs into Sam, who she nicknames Sexy Surfer or Sexy Grumpy Surfer. He’s not interested in a relationship but finds himself attracted to Becca. Against his better judgment, he offers her a job working in his business and the sparks fly between the two of them. They both have issues from their past that need to be dealt with or the relationship may not survive.
It’s in His Kiss by Jill Shalvis is a fun, light read. I fell in love with the characters and enjoyed watching the friendship develop between the two of them that slowly turned into romance. It was easy to read and a truly touching story that kept my interest to the end.
Ellen is a mom of a 25-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. She is Grandma to one adorable toddler. In what little spare time she has, she loves to read, watch movies, and check out the latest toys and games.
Oh this sounds sweet, and I’m not one to like romance novels. Always like to see the friendship blossom first and maybe even dislike that turns into a relationship for a twist. I like the ocean environment too.
