Okay, I admit it-I wanted a selfie stick.

I thought it would be fun to take it with when doing a girl’s night out. So, when we received The Ultimate Selfie Kit, I was excited to try it out with my ten-year-old. A product was provided for this post.

If you are on the selfie craze, you’ll have everything you need with The Ultimate Selfie Kit to get that perfect (or, funny) selfie to show your friends. This set includes an expandable selfie stick that attaches to your cell phone, props for hilarious pictures, and a how-to book to make sure you take that perfect selfie.

You will need to find sticks to attach props (if I had to make one improvement, I would include the sticks), so we did have to use straws for that. The stick is a basic selfie stick that grips your phone and then you extend the pole. We have an iPhone, so I don’t know if it fits all phones. It doesn’t have a button on the stick to take the picture, so you will need to set the timer on your phone to take the picture.

Even though this was our first time doing this, it wasn’t very hard at all to get the hang of it. I thought the book was very cute and full of selfie ideas, selfie etiquette, and other fun stuff.

We tried taking it with us on our recent trip to Disney World, but for those of you that don’t know this, they don’t allow selfie sticks in any of the parks due to people hitting things on rides with their selfie sticks.

I would recommend (for any selfie stick) to make sure you use the right case to avoid it slipping out due to the phone case. My daughter ended up taking it into her room and plans on using it for her upcoming birthday party with her friends. I think for the price, it is a great starter kit. I think that this would make a perfect gift for children and adults.
