Sound of Freedom, based on the incredible true story, shines a light on even the darkest of places. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her.
With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death.

Child trafficking is a very sensitive topic but it’s one you need to talk about with older children. This movie is rated PG-13.
It’s very tasteful, but there are scenes and topics that are not appropriate for younger kids. Please consider this when making your decision.

My thoughts
Sound of Freedom is an inspiring and captivating movie about the power of hope in even the darkest circumstances. Based on a true story, this film follows a federal agent on his mission to rescue a young girl from ruthless child traffickers in the Colombian jungle.
Despite the odds being stacked against him, he chooses to risk his life for what he believes. This movie is truly heartbreaking and brought me to tears several times. I highly recommend you watch it today.
