Watch the Special 90 Minute Episode of Survivor
You’re alone and isolated and you have to compete with others for cash and prizes and the right to stay on the island until the end. If that sounds like fun, you may be a fan of Survivor, a reality game show where contestants have to compete with others in remote, isolated locations!
Survivor debuted in 1997 and has developed a sort of cult following after almost 20 years of programming. In the game, sixteen to twenty contestants (castaways) are split into tribes and assigned separate camps at the filming’s location which is usually some type of tropical setting. As a tribe, the castaways have to survive the elements, build shelter, make fire, find water, and scrounge for food and other items they need.

Joining him for this discussion is former Survivor winner Parvati Shallow and fan favorite Stephen Fishbach, fresh off the most recent season of Survivor: Second Chance.

Survivor is the longest running reality-competition series and the show is remarkably consistent in the ratings due to the show’s loyal fans. In recent years, more families are watching the show together and there is a resurgence of excitement among the younger crowd. The new season of SURVIVOR: Kaoh Rong premieres with a special 90-minute episode on Wednesday, February 17 from 8PM – 9:30PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.

This really is a fun show. Everytime I do watch it, I get drawn in. I don’t know after so much time how they still come up with original things to do.

I am watching this season of Survivor. I wish I could watch seasons 1 to 11. I found other episodes on hulu.
I need to try to find a few of the older ones too!
