90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper is a true story of Death and Life. I’m a Christian, so I have always had a belief in heaven. I know it’s out there somewhere in some form. Since I was little, I’ve heard stories of pearly gates and angels and harps and St. Peter. I know it’s where I’ll go when I die. Like most people, I don’t think about coming back from there but that’s what happened to Don Piper.

90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper
Don Piper was on the way home from a seminar when his car was hit by a tractor-trailer truck. He did instantly. The emergency people at the scene pronounced him dead and covered him with a tarp to deal with later. A pastor stopped at his car to pray for him after being told to by God. When Don Piper, began to sing along with the hymns the pastor was singing, he was amazed and ran for help. The emergency people didn’t want to believe that Don Piper was alive several hours after being pronounced dead, but he was.
Don Piper remembers nothing between being hit by the truck and waking up in heaven. He was surrounded by friends and relatives who had died, and he’s surrounded by the most incredible sights and sounds he’s ever seen. Then, just as suddenly he was back in the car again and heading to the hospital.

I learned that it’s based on a true story
I see that it’s based on an incredible true story. What a miracle that he lived after all that time!
that it’s a true story and a NY times bestseller.
I have to admit that when I first heard of this, I was skeptical. But, I am also very open minded, and believe this could totally be true. I love that when you visit the site, it mentions how other people have left comments and stories about how this affected their own life- I think that’s very powerful, and great that this story can influence so many people.
