Pianoscapes for the Trails of North America is a collection of instrumental piano music that is inspired by the beauty of the scenic trails of North America. Music has always had the ability to calm me down, inspire me and motivate me depending the what I was listening to.

Pianoscapes for the Trails of North America
When I was a little girl, my parents had a piano that I enjoyed playing. I love the versatility that piano music has and that it can go from upbeat and lively to haunting and slow moving in the same song. It’s truly one of the most versatile instruments I know.

Pianoscapes for the Trails of North America is a collection of instrumental piano music that is based on trails located in the US and Canada. The piano is the obvious star of this CD, although there are other instruments that accompany including the violin, guitar, and cello. All of the work included is her original work except for the “Pachelbel for the Potomac” which was based on Pachelbel Canon.
Songs included on this CD are:
- Mountain Magic
- Sunrise on Cloud Palace
- Jumping Fish
- Pachelbel for the Potomac
- Voice from Sacred Wilderness
- The Kettle Moraine
- From Sea to Sapphire Sea
- Sunset on Cloud Palace
- Hope for the Trees
- Witches Slow Dance
The piano music included o this CD is truly haunting. That’s the only word I can find that’s close enough to how I feel when I listen to it. I can close my eyes and see the trees and hear the water in the brook as it splashes over the rocks in its way.
If you’re looking for a CD that will help you relax at the end of the day, this is it. It’s the ideal choice for background music to use during meditation or yoga or while journaling or even just relaxing at the end of the day with a cup of tea.

I love piano music and was listening to Christmas instrumentals on piano and cello last night on Spotify. I listened to the 10 sample tunes on the CD sold on Amazon and really like them.
It really is a beautiful CD!
This is beautiful and soothing. I love Pachelbel for the Potomac. That is one of my favorite instrumentals anyway, our daughter got married last May and she walked up the aisle the Celtic version of this song. 🙂
That must have been beautiful!
