First, Gumby rocks out with the Clayboys for a concert benefiting local farmers. But things go awry when Gumby s arch enemies, the Blockheads, dognap his pet pooch, Lowbelly!

Bad turns to worse when the Blockheads also kidnap the band…and replace them with clones! The battle between Clayboys and clones is filled with trains and planes, knights and fights, thrills and spills!

My thoughts:

If you’re a fan of Gumby, having this fun movie in your collection is a must. Not only can you watch all of the claymation you remember from classic Gumby programs, but you can check out the bonus features as well. I loved the behind the scenes photo gallery.

If I had to pick my favorite part in this movie, I would say that Gumby rocking with the Clayboys is definitely not to be missed. This DVD is 90 minutes long. Finally, you can buy it today on Amazon.

  25. I’d like to win because Gumby is classic children’s television. Much better than most of what passes as children’s fare these days. As an adult, I still enjoy watching Gumby and appreciate the artistry that went into animating these stop-motion clay characters. Thank you for the chance to win.

  29. I’ve literally never seen Gumby. The only referent I have for it is the Eddie Murphy sketch from old SNL episodes. It would be interesting to (finally) understand what, exactly, Eddie Murphy was making fun of!
