PBS Distribution announced today it is releasing a CAILLOU 25th anniversary DVD and book gift set on October 14, just in time for the holidays! The gift set features the DVD “Caillou’s Family Favorites,” which includes four episodes (14 adventures), and a 48-page beautifully illustrated special edition double storybook, which features “Training Wheels” and “Captain Caillou.”
For 25 years, Caillou has been inspiring generations of preschool children to grow emotionally and to explore the world around them by learning, having fun, and using their imagination. CAILLOU airs weekdays on PBS KIDS (check local listings). Join Caillou in celebrating his 25th anniversary with this fun-filled family DVD and double storybook collection.

Caillou’s Family Favorites DVD and Book
All of my kids grew up watching Caillou on PBS Kids. We simply love Caillou! If you are not familiar with Caillou, he’s a four year old boy who lives with his parents and younger sister Rosie. He has a wonderful imagination and is able to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Every day is an adventure for this inquisitive and imaginative little boy.
This year, Caillou is celebrating a big 25th anniversary. Yep, the popular children’s series is turning 25 this year! I really can’t believe it’s been around that long. To celebrate his anniversary, PBS Distribution is releasing a special 25th anniversary DVD and book gift set. The DVD features “Caillou’s Family Favorites” (14 episodes in total). This wonderfully illustrated book has 48 pages and features two stories – Training Wheels and Captain Caillou.

Caillou is one of those shows that even parents don’t get tired of. Even my older children sat down to watch these and they brought back fond memories for them. Having the book as an addition to this set would make a wonderful gift for the holidays. Each page features colorful illustrations and easy for young readers to read.
