Have you been waiting for The Emoji Movie to be released on DVD? I know I have and it’s finally time! I’ve always loved adding fun emoji’s to my texts but I never really thought about the “secret life” the emojis live inside my phone. Have you? I received a product for this post. The Emoji Movie
Take an adventure in the never-before-seen secret world inside your smartphone! Hidden within the messaging app is Textopolis, a bustling city where all your favorite emojis live. In this world, each emoji has only one facial expression – except for Gene (T.J. Miller), who is bursting with multiple expressions. Determined to become “normal”, Gene enlists the help of his handy best friend Hi-5 (James Corden) and the notorious code breaker emoji Jailbreak (Anna Faris).
Together, they embark on an epic “app-venture” through the apps on the phone, each its own wild and fun world, to find the Code that will fix Gene. But when a greater danger threatens the phone, the fate of all emojis depends on these three unlikely friends (or “heroes”?) who must save their world before it’s deleted forever.
This is seriously the cutest movie ever. Who would have thought that there was a secret world inside my smartphone. Inside your smartphone is a city called Textopolis where all your favorite emojis live just waiting to be used by you. One of the emojis, Gene, has multiple expressions – unlike all the other emojis that only have one. He wants to be “normal” like all the other emojis and asks two friends to help him. During this adventure, they have to go through all the different apps on your smartphone.
If you’re looking for fun for the whole family, The Emoji Movie is definitely it. It’s rated PG and includes a ton of features like the Good Vibrations dance along & lyric video which is my personal favorite.
One of my readers will win their very own Emoji prize pack that includes: 1 Blu-ray copy of The Emoji Movie, 1 Poop Pillow, 6 Emoji Beanie Babies, 1 Fidget Spinner, 1 Emoji Encyclopedia BookI really wish I could win this one myself!
