The Shift Review
I really like watching dystopian movies. They take me to new, exciting places where people face tough times that are very different from ours. These stories show me how strong people can be, even in hard situations.
In these movies, I often see things that remind me of my Christian faith. Even when things are really bad, the main characters never give up hope for a better future. This is like the hope we have because of Jesus. These movies remind me of God’s promise to create a world where there’s no more suffering

My review
“The Shift” is a unique mix of sci-fi and drama, with a strong Christian message. It’s about a man named Kevin Garner who meets a villain called The Benefactor. When he says no to The Benefactor’s offer of money and power, he ends up in a different, frightening world where he has to fight to get back to his old life and the woman he loves.
The movie is a bit like the story of Job from the Bible. Kevin faces a lot of hard times because of The Benefactor, which reminds us of how the devil works. The film talks about being good, resisting bad things, and having faith, which really made me think a lot about the similarities to today’s world. It also has amazing effects that make the different world look real. All in all, “The Shift” is a great movie that combines spiritual messages with futuristic ideas.
