I Wonder Book Review

This book is fun and super interactive. Essea White delivers with this book that is sure to make you and your little one laugh. All of their favorite animals are now in one place and doing the silliest of things. My three-year-old was giggling at the fact that this book mentions hedgehogs parachute from planes or if cows tell silly stories.

I loved that the animals were featured along with a rhyming scheme since my daughter is learning new words each and every day. This is a book that would also be great for young readers that are just starting out because the words do sound similar. It would be relatively easy for them to sound them out. The pictures are vivid enough that they even captured the attention of my 18-month old.

“I Wonder” made story time a lot of fun and my three-year-old now asks me some of the questions about the animals. She will also ask for this book by name for her older brother to read to her at night. With all the fun questions, this book is one that will the imagination and be fun to read over and over again. Since we do read this book a lot of the time before nap or bedtime I truly wonder what her dreams are like. Does she dream of the sheep in woolen socks or the cows telling her silly stories? I really love that “I Wonder” opens up my kids’ imaginations with whimsical notions and colorful pictures.
