It’s almost Valentine’s Day and my mind is filled with ideas of how I’ll be spending it! While I probably won’t be able to do all of the ideas I have, I’m hoping to be able to do one or two (or three) of them. Which of these ideas interests you the most? This post has been sponsored, but the story is my own.
How to Have the Perfect Valentine’s Day
Marty and I will probably spend the day at home on Valentine’s Day, but there are still loads of different things to do to make the day special. You don’t have to jet off to an exotic location to have the perfect Valentine’s Day.
- Plan a special meal. Plan to make your partner’s favorite foods on Valentine’s Day or make something special that you would normally order in a restaurant. Don’t forget a special treat for dessert. How about a chocolate bar with a personalized romantic photo wrapper?
- Write him a romantic poem. Tell him how you feel with a romantic poem. Then tuck it inside a Valentine’s Day card that’s personalized just for him.
- Go for a walk together. It’s cold outside, and the ground is covered with snow, but we can still take a short walk in the snow and then run back inside to get warm again.
- Spend time together. I think we’re going to watch romantic movies on television on Valentine’s Day and maybe enjoy some fondue with fresh strawberries. This fondue pot would be just perfect.
- Play a game together. There are lots of romantic board games you can play to get to know each other better. The important thing is that you spend quality time with each other having fun.
