A Cinderella Story: Starstruck
I’m a huge fan of fairy tales and I love that this movie is a story with a happy ending for adults. It reminds me a lot of the traditional story of Cinderella.
So, if you’re wondering what this movie is all about, it’s the sixth installment in the popular series. Here’s a bit more:
Finley Tremaine (Bailee Madison), a small-town farm girl, longs to spread her wings and soar as an aspiring performer. When a Hollywood film crew arrives in her sleepy town, she is determined to land a role in the production and capture the attention of handsome lead actor Jackson Stone (Michael Evans Behling).
Unfortunately, a botched audition forces her to change course. Now, disguised as cowboy “Huck,†Finley finally gets her big break. But can she keep the charade a secret from everyone, including her evil stepmother and devious step-siblings?
A Cinderella Story Starstruck is being released on DVD on July 13th from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment! And, it will be on HBO Max later this year. Make sure you pick up a copy! Buy it here.

Cinderella Story Starstruck Trailer
I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this DVD. I love seeing a small-town girl have the confidence to achieve her dreams even when others don’t feel they’re realistic. This is definitely one of those feel-good movies. Check out the trailer for more information.
Is this good for kids?
This movie is rated PG so it’s not intended for very young children. But, if you have a pre-teen, I didn’t see anything in this film that I found objectionable.
If you’re watching this with a child (or you just want a fun activity to go along with the movie), why not make sugar cookies and decorate them? These farm animal cookie cutters are just the thing. And, you can use these edible markers to paint your designs.
Get a copy of the DVD right here and start watching! Younger kids may enjoy a few of these farm animal activities while you’re enjoying the show.
