Have you seen Doc McStuffins Toy Hospital DVD? Disney Junior offers so many fun shows for kids under eight years old. It can be difficult to find a channel where programming is intended only for younger children so I’m really glad that Disney Junior offers that option. Just a few favorite shows you can find there are Doc McStuffins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

My thoughts:
One of the reasons that I think Doc McStuffins is such a wonderful series for kids is that it models caring for others and using your imagination. I think these are characteristics that we need in today’s society even more than we have in the past.
Doc encourages others to care for others as she cares for her toys by repairing seams or replacing batteries. The series also models good health tips and encourages young children to make good decisions with a positive attitude. This is a great DVD to add to your collection.
