I love listening to music online. It’s a great way to relax and get rid of stress.  At the end of a long day, I just put in my earbuds and turn up the music.  Sometimes I even turn up the music to block out whatever annoying thing happens to be going on behind me.

What I listen to really depends on my mood.  If I’m tired, I will probably put on something to wake me up like Meghan Trainor’s new song All About That Bass that is truly one of the most amazing songs I have heard in a long time.  I’m also really enjoying Taylor Swift’s Shake it Off as a wake up song. Of course, we cannot forget about the cool new album from Train that I’ve been listening to all day either.

Of course, if I’m stressed out and want to calm down, I often listen to calming songs like God of Wonders’ Beyond our Galaxy.  That is one of my very favorite Christian songs right now. It’s amazing and inspiring and uplifting all at the same time.

Half the fun of listening to music online is sharing your music with your friends. Well, now with Facebook Audio Recognition from TuneCore, it’s even easier. TuneCore’s newest feature Facebook Audio Recognition makes it easy for Facebook users to share which song they’re listening to with their friends. For a one-time fee, TuneCore’s artists can be included in this exciting new music discovery service!

When writing a status update, Facebook users who choose to turn on the audio recognition feature will be able to use their phone’s microphone to hear what song is playing. If the audio recognition finds a match, then Facebook users can choose to add the song to a post. The Facebook post will include the song name, cover art and artist name.

If you’re a music artist who is interested in having their songs included, this is a great way to share your music and grow your fan base. Facebook Audio Recognition from TuneCore gets your music heard around the world and helps you collect the money that is rightfully yours.

  1. That’s pretty interesting. I love music as well and see others on my Facebook sharing what they are listening to although I haven’t really done it. It will be interesting to see how it works once it’s implemented fully. Oh and I love All About That Bass and Shake It Off too!

  2. I’m not on Facebook enough to know about this feature so thanks for blogging about it. Fun to share each other music so this will be a hit I’m sure.
