God. Family. Football. follows ex-football player and high school football coach Denny Duron as he returns to once again coach the Louisiana-based team
that he once led.
Duron has been retired for 30 years, but decides to return to Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, La., after the one-time high school football powerhouse fell on rough times.
Once home to 14 state championships in the last 20 years, the team is now coming off its worst season in school history.
The series focuses on the 2022 high school football season as Evangel Christian Academy — which has sent more football players to the NFL and NCAA Division 1 college football programs than any other high school in the state — looks to rebuild.

Who is Denny Duron?
Denny Duron is a former American football player and coach. He used to play for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs football team. And, he helped them win the 1973 Division II National Championships.
He is also a Christian pastor, inventor, educator, author, public-speaker, composer, and producer. He has returned to coaching to coach a new team to success after a 30 year retirement.
What is this series about?
This is a faith based sports docu series that follows Denny Duron as he comes out of retirement to lead the football program he founded at Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana.
There are 6 episodes and they are appearing exclusively on Amazon Freevee starting on September 1. You cannot watch them anywhere else. The film has so many faith and football stories relating to Duron and the Evangel Eagles (2022).
Plus, as an added bonus Broncos quarterback, Russell Wilson, is the director! He’s always been so open about his faith so having him be a part of God.Family.Football is just a wonderful fit.
