Have you ever tried illustrated faith Bible journaling? I journal for a lot of reasons. Sometimes, journaling helps with my stress level. Other times, journaling is a wonderful way to encourage creativity. With the Ellie Claire journals, journaling combines both of these in a way that helps me grow my faith.
Illustrated Faith Bible Journaling
There are many different ways to do illustrated faith Bible journaling. You can simply read the Bible and journal your thoughts about the passages. Or, you can practice lettering your favorite verses. And, you can doodle or draw and color along with your journaling. If you’re truly feeling creative, you can do all of these. That’s what makes journaling so amazing. It’s an expression of you.
Here are a few Ellie Claire Art Journals to consider for Bible journaling:

Find it on Amazon.
These three illustrated faith Bible journaling books from Ellie Claire are truly stunning. The covers are heavy and have raised detailing that make them feel very special. The pages are quite thick so even with my gel pens, I had no bleed through onto the other side. That is a huge plus for me since I prefer to journal with gel pens rather than colored pencils. Plus, the journals all lay flat when you open them so you don’t need to worry about breaking the binding in order to use the journals. Both the Faith & Lettering Journal and the Illuminate Your Story Journal have a loop on the side of the binding to hold a pen. If you prefer journaling with pencils, these double-sided pencils work well too.
The Ellie Claire Journals I received are all different and unique. You might think that one Christian journal is pretty much like the other, but you’d be wrong in this case. Each one lets you get closer to God in its own way. The Faith and Lettering journal has places for you to write your thoughts as well as spots for you to practice writing different types of lettering. The Illuminate Your Story journal has places for you to write and also teaches you how to make those cool illuminated letters that you see in some older Bibles where the first letter of a chapter is actually a detailed picture. The Illustrated Word has spots for you to write along with illustrations from other works of art and entire pages to color.
I am enjoying all of the journals and it is difficult to choose which one is my favorite. If I had to choose one that I’m really feeling most connected to, it would probably be the Faith & Lettering Journal. I love lettering since I used to make artist trading cards. I found the quotes they included very inspiring and I love learning to make all of the flourishes and letters.
If you are looking for a great Christian gift idea, any one of these journals would be very much appreciated.
