Louise Fili Double-Sided Pencils
Colored pencils are one of my favorite writing implements. I use them to fill in and doodle in my planner. I use them to color in my adult coloring book.
And, I even use them to write notes to my husband because they’re more colorful than a traditional pencil or pen. Just like with markers or paints, you get a better quality drawing when you use a better quality pencil.
Louise Fili is director of Louise Fili Ltd, a New York-based design studio specializing in logo, package, restaurant, and book design. Formerly senior designer for Herb Lubalin, Louise Fili was art director of Pantheon Books from 1978 to 1989, where she designed close to 2000 book jackets.
Fili has taught and lectured on graphic design and typography, and her work is in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, the Cooper Hewitt Museum, and the Bibliotheque Nationale.
She is a member of the Art Directors Hall of Fame, and received the lifetime achievement medal from the AIGA. She is the author of the bestselling Elegantissima, Grafica della Strada, and Graphique de la Rue.

Pretty packaging is certainly a draw. These are perfect with all of the adult coloring books out there. Although I have to admit that they are really pretty to look at too.
