I really love stories like No Yeti Yet. The thought of finding a Yeti is so exciting. I also love to find out about the author behind the stories. Mary Ann Fraser is the author of No Yeti Yet. Fraser grew up in a home with only a few books but visited the local library often, especially during the summer.
This led her to begin writing her own books while only in second grade! This author now has sixty critically acclaimed books for children. We plan on checking out her other books as well. Buy it here.

No Yeti Yet by Mary Ann Fraser
No Yeti Yet is about two brothers who set out into the snowy terrain near their farmhouse in search of a yeti. While they take this long journey, the younger asks the older brother many questions as the older brother leads the way to find this interesting creature.
The story takes a different route and is told through the dialogue between the two siblings. I think this holds the interest of younger children better and helps them to distinguish between the two in conversation. I thought it was interesting that a larger font is used for the older brother’s speech, so younger readers can follow along more easily.
As the two brothers head out on their yeti hunt, you can see the snow creature hidden throughout the pages of the book. We made a game of seeing who could find the yeti first. I have to say, the whimsical illustrations are my favorite part of No Yeti Yet. The bright and fun colors used keeps younger readers interested. You will want to read this over and over to catch more details you miss the time before. I think that both children and adults will enjoy this book.
I highly recommend No Yeti Yet as a fun addition to any home library. Buy No Yeti Yet today.

What an interesting idea to use different fonts for the brothers! It sounds like a really nice story.
