Marty and I love playing card games. The Fast Flip Card Game by Blue Orange Games is loads of fun. We enjoy card games because they don’t take up large blocks of time. Posts may be sponsored. This post contains affiliate links, which means I will make a commission at no extra cost to you […]
The world changes so quickly that it’s difficult sometimes to read the Bible and understand how it applies to our world today. The world we live in isn’t anything like the world that the Bible talks about. That’s one of the reasons why I enjoy reading Christian books. It makes it easier for me to […]
I have always loved all of the British dramas on television. I cannot tell you how many hours I’ve spent curled up on the couch with a cup of tea watching British programming. My Mom got me hooked when I was younger. She’s actually traveled to England a few times and gotten to see some of […]
If you’ve ever wondered how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles could possibly get any better, I have the answer: just add monsters, cyborgs, and aliens. Of course, that love of Transformers turned into a love of the Transformer series on television. Of course, now you […]

Bearing Witness was a fascinating look into the lives of a number of different martyrs in the Christian religion. The book is part of the Bearing Witness Stories Project, a collaboration of Anabaptists from a wide range of traditions. […]
The Silent Sounds of Chaos was the perfect thriller to spend the weekend with. After a very busy Saturday, it decided to be cold and rainy on Sunday. I decided that a cup of coffee, a warm blanket, and a good thriller would be a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. I was right! […]
I’ve been working toward simplifying my life for about a year. Week by week, I declutter a bit more. I pare down my schedule. I turn off more notifications on my phone. It hasn’t been an easy journey. I’m used to being very busy all of the time, but it’s a journey that I needed […]
