Signature Mystery Series premiere
After being forced into early retirement, former detective Jeff Jackson returns to a quiet life on Martha’s Vineyard. Quiet, at least, until a body washes up and he’s drawn back into crime-solving. Signature Mystery Series stars Jesse Metcalfe and Sarah Lind. Find out more. This is part of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries programming.
Jesse Metcalfe
Hollywood leading man Jesse Metcalfe currently stars as Trace Riley in Hallmark Channel’s “Chesapeake Shores.” Before that, Metcalfe was seen as Christopher Ewing in the popular TNT series, “Dallas.” Born in California and raised in Waterford, Connecticut, Metcalfe played in several basketball leagues in his youth.
Studying acting at New York University’s famed Tisch School of the Arts, his first role on television was starring in the NBC series “Passions” as Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald. After a successful five-year stint on the show, Metcalfe took a brief break from it to pursue other opportunities. He returned to make his final appearance in January 2005.
Sarah Lind
Sarah Lind is an award-winning actress with a long list of film and television credits. She has starred alongside Nicolas Cage in the dystopian feature The Humanity Bureau, and she appeared in several episodes of the police action series “True Justice” starring Steven Seagal.
Proving her range, Lind was the lead in several horror and fantasy works, including The Exorcism of Molly Hartley and WolfCop, and she also guest-starred on season two of FX’s hit series “Fargo.” In addition, Lind appeared in numerous other major network series and enjoyed being both heroine and villain in various Lifetime films.
