I remember the first time I heard about Bitcoin. I remember thinking “Why would anyone want that? What a silly idea.” Did you know that today one bitcoin is worth over $200? Really. I checked. If only I had grabbed a few when they first came out.

It makes you think about how Bitcoin will change the world including both social and political changes.This is a form of currency that is not run by any government. Bitcoin allows access to banking to many people who currently don’t have access due to poor credit or no credit. All Bitcoin transactions are recorded and a matter of public access. You can’t cheat this system and that makes it intriguing to many people.
I’m fascinated by the concept of Bitcoin and The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin (2014) helped answer a lot of my questions. At over $200 for one Bitcoin, I won’t be investing in tons of them right now but I am watching it closely. If you’re interested as well, I definitely recommend you watch the movie.

This sounds interesting. When I first heard of Bitcoin I had the same reaction as you, lol, but it seems to be very prevalent online nowadays.
