Check out these fun travel toys preschoolers will love! If you’re planning a car trip with the family this summer, you’ll know that a bored preschooler can ruin the entire trip. But, not every toy is suitable for car or plane travel. It’s important to choose a toy that will keep your child engaged and travel well.
Travel Toys Preschoolers Will Love
Many parents rely on electronic devices to keep the kids entertained while traveling. But, if you’re looking for screen-free travel toys preschoolers will enjoy, keep reading for a few of my suggestions. Ok, so what makes a toy great for travel?
Compact travel toys
You will want to consider the size of the toy you choose. If your child is traveling on a plane or in the car with other siblings, it’s important that the toy not take up too much space. You don’t want to annoy the person that they’re sitting next to.
Quiet travel toys
The last thing I want to hear when I’m fighting with traffic is something buzzing, beeping or talking in the back seat. And, if you’re looking for travel toys preschoolers can use on an airplane, it’s very rude to make passengers listen to your child’s toy. Look for something silent to bring along.
All in one travel toys
I really appreciate travel toys that have a case to hold all of the pieces. I don’t want to worry about losing wheels, shoes, dice, parts or pieces somewhere in the car or elsewhere on my journey.
Here are a few travel toys preschoolers that are aged 4 and up will enjoy.

Favorite travel toys preschoolers will love
We had the chance to play with the Take Along Western City and the Dino Explorer Carry Case and they would both make great travel toys preschoolers could take along on vacations. The Dino Explorer Case contains an explorer, a few dinosaurs and several accessories like binoculars and dinosaur bones. It’s pretty much all assembled. You just need to snap a few pieces together. Everything fits in the case perfectly and it’s a great size to bring along on a plane or in the car. Any of these smaller carry cases would be ideal for summer travel.
And, once you arrive at your destination, you can bring out the Take Along Western City. I would recommend that you do the main assembly before you leave. Put the building together and apply the stickers. Snap-in the jail, the doors, and the roof parts. Then, put all of the figures and other accessories inside and close it up. When you arrive at your destination, your child to set up the furniture, add the accessories, and start playing. The pieces just snap together so no tools are required and it only takes a few minutes. So, not only is this a travel toy preschoolers will like, but it’s also something parents won’t go crazy putting together.
I am absolutely in love with the details that this take-along set includes. there’s a real wanted poster with tiny tin cans they can practice shooting at. And, the doors have latches so they can be open or closed. You can put the sheriff or the bad guys on the horse. And, you can even add a gun and a bag of gold if you want to (because you know they just robbed that bank). When your child is done playing, put all the accessories back inside, close the door and lock it. And you’re all set for your next adventure.
So, if you’re looking for travel toys preschoolers will really enjoy, this is perfect to bring along on vacation or when you head over to visit relatives and you don’t want the kids to be bored. Finally, here are a few more Playmobil travel toys preschoolers will enjoy.
