Christmas is a super busy time of year for most people. With the extra shopping, baking, entertaining and family obligations, it can be tough to find extra time in our day. Here are a few Christmas fun activities your family can enjoy in only 5 minutes.
Christmas Fun Activities
We don’t have a lot of Christmas traditions in our family but we do have a few. The kids help decorate the tree and my husband puts the star on top. And, the night before Christmas (Christmas Eve), the kids each get to open one small gift. It’s generally something practical like pajamas or books rather than one of the “big” presents. I have so many wonderful memories of the kids choosing which ornaments to put on the tree. It seems to change each year as they get older but they have their favorites too.
Whether you have lots of Christmas traditions or just a few, there are several fun Christmas activities below that you can do with your family. Plus, there are some fun facts about Christmas that you may not have known like why we have Christmas stockings and why we sing Christmas carols.
The holidays are all around us, Christmas music stations are on 24/7, and the spirit of the season is in the air! There’s nothing like the Christmas season, it’s the time to spend with friends, cherish loved ones and remember those who are no longer with us.
A great way to spend time with friends and families is by getting together for a family game night. These Classic Family Game Night Games are a perfect choice. Thank you to Catholic Central for sharing this selection of games with my family.
