There is no better way to spend a cold weekend than by sitting on the couch with a blanket, a cup of tea and a romance book. I don’t do that often. I generally don’t have the time. But, sometimes, a book is just impossible to put down. Luck Be A Lady by Meredith Duran was […]
When I was younger, one of the few channels my parents got on television was PBS. We didn’t get cable, and I spent a lot of time watching documentaries and educational programs. Those early years on PBS, watching Julia Child, are also what got me interested in cooking programs. Now that I’m older, I enjoy […]

The kids and I have always loved sing-along DVDs. Some of my favorite memories are of the kids and me singing along to the songs together. You know that some of the best sing-along DVDs are from Disney so when I learned about the Mickey’s Monster Musical DVD from Disney Junior, I knew I wanted […]
I cannot tell you how many hours my kids spent occupying themselves with LEGO’s when they were little. We had LEGO’s everywhere you could look. Heck, I still have two little LEGO men on my desk to keep me company when I’m lonely. I guess I’m just a big kid at heart. Posts may be […]
