I think that many people struggle with what they’re meant to do in their life. We sort of stumble around trying to find our purpose and place in life, but we aren’t always happy where we end up. We don’t seem to be able to find our identity in today’s world. You Are the Greatest […]

A few years ago, my son attended a revival group in a neighboring city through our Church. It was the first time he’d experienced something like that since our local community doesn’t have revivals. He had a great time and loved the high energy level that everyone had. Ministering to a group is a wonderful […]

As the weather gets cooler, I start to read more often and this weekend was no exception. With the cold damp weather, I was definitely in the mood for something dark and Rose Marie by Gary I. Coleman was the perfect choice for a weekend read. Thank you to the author for sponsoring this post […]

I have always loved the story of Esther in the Bible because she was always so calm and peaceful which are two […]

The world changes so quickly that it’s difficult sometimes to read the Bible and understand how it applies to our world today. The world we live in isn’t anything like the world that the Bible talks about. That’s one of the reasons why I enjoy reading Christian books. It makes it easier for me to […]

I love learning more about the Bible and the part that religion played in our history. Bearing Witness was a fascinating look into the lives of a number of different martyrs in the Christian religion. The book is part of the Bearing Witness Stories Project, a collaboration of Anabaptists from a wide range of traditions.  […]
